DESCRIPTION AND SUGGESTIONS

Original Maraschino Cherries are candied cherries in Marasca syrup, first produced by Luxardo in Zara at the end of the 19th century. The syrup contains a small percentage of Maraschino distillate; fruit and syrup are 50/50, with no thickeners or preservatives.

Used in the best bars in the world to garnish cocktails, they are also excellent on gelato cups and desserts; the syrup flavours drinks and sweets. Gluten-free, suitable for vegans.
