A concrete step toward sustainability. The innovation of Styropor® Ccycled® lies in replacing fossil raw materials with pyrolysis oil, obtained from the chemical recycling of mixed plastic waste. Through BASF's certified Mass Balance approach, this waste re-enters the production cycle, reducing the carbon footprint (PCF) by 90% compared to the traditional version. The material maintains all essential requirements for thermal insulation and food safety, guaranteed by international standards such as REDCERT2 and ISCC PLUS.
